Ribbet - Free Photo Editor - Lets You Turn Basic Images Into Stunning Photographs In Seconds

Description: Many of us take images on our cell phones or even nice digital cameras. Later, when we look at them, we wish we had done something just a little different, or maybe we wish we had better light when we took the image, or even wish to have the ability to frame the image to give it just a little extra. Of course, we all know the powers of Instagram that allows us to doctor up images directly from a smartphone. Today, I would like to introduce Ribbet - a FREE photo editing tool, you can use on your computer. The best part - you do not need to download anything, you do not need to sign up for anything (not even provide your email address) and you can edit your images using your browser. Below are some of my images I was able to edit in just a few seconds.
Red Canyon in Dixie National Forest
This picture of the Red Canyon in Dixie National Forest was taken with an iPhone 5. The only effect applied to this image is called the Morocco Effect (my personal favorite) and later I used Ribbet to also create the Before and After image, selecting to show the bottom strip out of about six different choices.

Elephant at Animal Kingdom - Disney World, Orlando FL
The picture of an elephant was taken at Disney World in Orlando, Florida with an iPhone 5 from a moving vehicle. As a side note, I thought that the Animal Kingdom was one of the best "ZOO" experiences of my life. To edit this picture, I first cropped it, then applied the Lomo-ish Effect and finally selected a Museum Matte Frame. As you can see, for this picture, I selected a different Before and After style.
Bryce Canyon National Park
This picture was taken at the Bryce Canyon National Park with iPhone 5. The image was cropped to Facebook Cover Size (I thought this was a nice touch from Ribbet, since it can be difficult to get a picture to fit that image size) and then I applied the Greek Islands Effect before applying a Before and After style.
Fall in Niagara Falls, NY
This picture was taken at the Niagara Falls State Park, NY with an iPhone 3GS. Using Ribbet, I applied the Morocco Effect, used the Simple Border Frame and added a Watermark, which was very easy and can be customized using many different fonts. Lastly, the Before and After style for this one has no text.

Pros: Ribbet is extremely easy to use and very self explanatory. It does not require any signing-up or a download. There are enough options for simple photo editing for anyone who is looking for a photo editor.
Cons: In this no download, no sign-up version, Ribbet does not support layers and other fancy photo editing functions. However there are basically two other versions, one free with an email sign-up and the Premium version that appear to provide some support for layers (I cannot confirm this however, as I have not worked with these versions).

Cost: FREE for basic version (everything described here) that includes some limited advertisements on the page. An upgrade to Premium version is available.
